Facebook is seeking two Account Manager to join our Online Sales Operations (OSO) team. Facebook’s OSO team is dedicated to supporting and growing its online advertiser base. Team members will be responsible for demonstrating the value of Facebook’s advertising solutions and providing support for all ad products. This position is full time and located in our Palo Alto office.
Facebook’s second Account Manager will provide the highest level of customer service to our advertising agency customers. The Agency Account Manager is a proven self-starter who brings a history of high achievement from relevant industry positions. Position reports to the Manager of Agency Online Sales & Operations. There are minimal travel requirements for this position. This position is located in our Palo Alto office.
Responsibilities
• Pre and post sale support for advertising agencies
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with advertising agencies
• Comfortable engaging with clients at the Executive-level
• Manage the traffic, execution, optimization, and analysis for a portfolio of agencies and their accounts
• Serve as the main Agency customer services contact on all issues including campaign management, reporting, and troubleshooting
• Identify and cultivate new opportunities to grow sustainable business portfolio
• Be proactive in identifying areas to improve efficiency and scale
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from top educational institution
• Minimum of 3 Years experience having excelled in online media sales, account management, advertising operations or other highly relevant field
• Able to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time, even under high-pressure situations
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proven project management skills
• History of achievement both as a team player and an individual achiever
• Strong analytical ability, familiarity with standard industry analytics tools
• Agency experience a plus
Agency Account Manager:
Responsibilities
• Provide dedicated account management to strategic online accounts
• Troubleshoot to quickly resolve advertiser issues
• Grow revenue and track retention of managed accounts
• Optimize advertiser accounts to improve performance, and to ensure compliance of ad campaigns
• Identify trends to enhance the customer support process and to improve team efficiency
• Work cross-functionally with sales teams and other organizations within Facebook
• Assist advertisers with marketing strategies and implementation of new tools and products
• Gather customer feedback to enhance ad products and the customer experience
Requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• BA/BS degree from a leading academic institution
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a team setting
• Able to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time, even under high-pressure situations
• Extensive experience as a Facebook user and familiarity with Facebook’s ad products
• Direct client or customer service experience a plus
• Experience in a fast-paced startup, sales, and/or online advertising environment a plus
