Founded in 1978, The Western International University (WIU) is a for-profit university in Phoenix, Arizona. The Western International University is owned by the Apollo Group.
Western International University is a college for adult learners and allows adults to remain responsible for their careers and family life by offering online and evening programs.
It has five campus locations in Arizona, an international campus in China, and a virtual campus called WIU Interactive Online.
